Placement & Connectivity
If the ceiling height is higher than 9 feet, we recommend mounting the device on a wall.
The ideal placement is above the center of two to three stalls. If the area is larger, we recommend multiple devices.
1. Is there a strong Wi-Fi signal in the room? (required for ZVD2300 Wireless Device)
2. How many stalls? We recommend placement above the center of 2 stalls max.
3. Is there a known vaping/smoking area outside of the stall?
4. Will motion sensor be activated by movement? (required for ZVD2300 Wireless Device)
5. Is the area relatively free of strong air currents? Don’t install near open windows or doors.
6. Avoid HVAC vents, fans, and showers by at least 3 ft.
7. If installing our ZVD2200 Wired device, can ethernet cable be run to the desired location.
